Head of Knowledge Transfer for NRP 80 appointed
The Research Council of the SNSF has elected Xavier Pilloud as Head of Knowledge Transfer of NRP 80.
The SNSF has appointed Xavier Pilloud, journalist and owner of VIRTÙ Public Affairs AG, Head of Knowledge Transfer of the National Research Programme "Covid-19 in Society" (NRP 80). Xavier Pilloud will promote the dialogue between research, politics and society within the framework of NRP 80 and ensure the communication of scientific findings to a broader public.
Research in NRP 80 will start in December 2022 with the aim of identifying the most important dimensions and societal dynamics that influenced the course of the Covid-19 pandemic in Switzerland. Furthermore, the relevant factors and measures that can contribute to the best possible management of the Covid-19 pandemic and future pandemics in the country will be investigated.
